Joseph P. McGinley

Joseph P. McGinley serves as Vice President of Corporate Development for Comcast Corporation. In this role, he develops corporate strategy for Comcast through the planning and execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and other equity-related transactions across the Company’s businesses. Since joining Comcast, Joseph has helped complete numerous transactions across Comcast’s various business units, including NBCUniversal, Cable, Business Services, International, Interactive Media and Spotlight. Joseph was integrally involved in Comcast’s acquisition of NBCUniversal.

Prior to joining Comcast, Joseph worked with Cerberus Capital Management where he directed all facets of acquisition strategy and execution for several Cerberus-controlled companies. Joseph previously worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Deutsche Bank as an investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions advisory for companies across a variety of industries. Joseph began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Joseph earned a B.S. from St. Joseph’s University and an MBA in finance from The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Graduate School of Business. He serves on the Board of Directors at Eagleville Hospital. Joseph, his wife Margot, and their five children, reside in Devon, Pennsylvania.
