Karen Williams-John

Karen Williams-John, PMP, has extensive experience in project management with a focus on IT and telecommunications. Currently serving as Senior Manager for IT Projects at Comcast Cable since August 2013, Karen manages projects related to billing systems. Previously, Karen contributed as a volunteer at PMI Chicagoland for the 8th Annual PMI Leadership Forum in early 2013. At Motorola Mobile Devices, from October 2005 to September 2012, Karen held the position of Customer Requirements/Project Manager, overseeing technical account relationships and ensuring timely documentation for North American and European operators. Prior experience at Lucent Technologies from 1989 to 2005 included managing project planning and execution for a major switching module feature and leading a team of engineers to develop a key product feature. Karen holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Spelman College.
