Kristina Janssens is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at Comerica Bank since September 2023, Kristina previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Flagstar Bank from July 2014 to September 2023, where responsibilities included providing legal advice on various federal regulations and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives. Before Flagstar Bank, Kristina worked as an Attorney at Maddin, Hauser, Wartell, Roth & Heller, P.C., specializing in regulatory compliance and litigation related to mortgage and financial services. Kristina holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Michigan State University.
