Howard Dando is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management across various high-tech companies. Currently serving as the Sr. Mechanical Engineering Manager at Comet Group since May 2020, Howard leads the Mechanical Engineering team within the R&D Department, focusing on team development and mentorship in engineering principles. Prior to this, Howard held notable roles, including Sr. Manager of Engineering at Onto Innovation, where leadership was provided for the successful product launch of the Atlas® III+ system, and Sr. Mechanical Engineering Manager at Labcyte Inc., contributing to innovative liquid handling technologies. Additionally, Howard's expertise encompasses mechanical and opto-mechanical development at AOptix Technologies, as well as managerial positions at KLA-Tencor, culminating in over 27 years of experience in engineering leadership and product development.
