Mahdi Amin

Mahdi Amin is currently serving as Deputy Managing Director at Comfort Group of Industries since January 2016, leading corporate units with a focus on the garment industry, financial services, and technological solutions. This role includes overseeing structural reforms aligned with a strategic roadmap aimed at achieving annual garment exports exceeding 150 million USD and creating over 10,000 jobs. Previously, Mahdi held teaching and consultancy positions at the University of Cambridge, where engagement included supervising corporate consultancy projects with notable multinational corporations and conducting collaborative research with leading automotive firms. Other professional experience includes serving as a Strategic Consultant at Wellcome Trust and as a Student Ambassador at Middlesex University. Mahdi holds a PhD in Management Studies and an MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies from the University of Cambridge, along with a BA in Business Administration from Middlesex University.
