Ila Patel

Ila Patel has a solid work experience history, with a range of roles in various companies over the years. Ila began their career as a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen in 1996, where they worked until 2002. Patel then joined Protiviti as a Senior Manager in 2002 before moving on to W-H Energy Services as a VP of Audit & Information Services from 2003 to 2008. During this time, they also served as the Chief Audit Executive and played a crucial role in strategic IT projects and risk-based internal audits. In 2009, they joined ExpressJet Airlines as the Director of Internal Audit, where they were responsible for risk-based internal audits and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Patel later worked at Newpark Resources, Inc as the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance in 2010, before moving to The Tagos Group as CFO from 2011 to 2013. Ila then worked as the Controller at Atlantica Management (USA) Inc. from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Comfort Systems USA. Patel has a strong background in audit, compliance, and finance management, with extensive experience in risk assessment and strategic planning.
