Sean McMorris

Sean McMorris has extensive experience in the field of compliance, ethics, and auditing. Sean currently holds the position of Director of Compliance, Sustainability, and Inclusion at Comfort Systems USA, where they oversee the organization's ethics and compliance function. Prior to this, Sean served as the Director of Compliance and Ethics and Compliance and Ethics Manager at the same company. In these roles, they were responsible for administering the Code of Conduct and related policies, providing training and awareness materials to employees, and managing the Compliance and Ethics helpline. Before joining Comfort Systems USA, Sean worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Willbros Group, Inc., where they conducted financial, compliance, and operational audits. Sean also has experience as an Internal Auditor at Gary W. Lambert and Company, where they conducted sales and use tax audits for local taxing jurisdictions in Louisiana.

Sean McMorris earned a BBA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University from 2007 to 2011. Sean then pursued a Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) from Prairie View A&M University from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, Sean McMorris obtained certifications in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University in August 2020 and in Ethics and Compliance from SMU Cox School of Business, Executive Education in February 2020.
