Susan Pieri

Susan Pieri serves as the Global Foundations and Institutional Funding Lead at Comic Relief since October 2024. Prior to this role, Susan was the Head of Institutional Funding and Partnerships at The Power of Nutrition, where partnership development efforts secured significant grants, including $7 million from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. From December 2012 to June 2023, Susan held the position of Head of Institutional Funding at Sightsavers, focusing on securing substantial funding from various donors and managing a team. Earlier career experiences include roles at DFID and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, where Susan contributed to governance, environmental policy, and program management. Susan holds a BA Honours in European Studies from the University of Portsmouth, with competencies in both German and Spanish.
