Prior to this, Charles was a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Tignis, where Charles developed AI process control solutions for the semiconductor industry. Charles also has experience as the VP of Machine Learning Algorithms at BigML, Inc, where Charles drove the expansion of machine learning software services. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Oregon State University, Charles has a strong background in research and teaching in the field of computer science.

Comigo is an AI-powered cognitive behavioral companion, designed to assist patients 24/7 with conditions impacting executive function. It's informed by extensive data on mental health, research, and treatments such as executive function coaching and support, and therapies to regulate emotions, thoughts and behavior. Key to Comigo's design is its conversational nature; patients can speak or type to interact with it naturally, as they would with a friend. It can detect up to 45 emotions in speech, which taken into context with the what the patient is saying is able to offer immediate, highly personalized support and behavioral therapies with an emphasis on empathy and rapport building. Our goal is to establish Comigo as an invaluable aid for both patients and clinicians. By facilitating remote monitoring and progress tracking, it significantly reduces workload. Additionally, Comigo offers continuous support for patients and delivers vital clinical insights between sessions, enhancing overall care efficiency and effectiveness.
