Veronika Parfentyeva

Veronika Parfentyeva is a Senior Research Scientist at CoMind since February 2023, with a strong background in photonics and medical physics. A Doctor of Philosophy graduate from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Veronika has diverse experience in research and technical consulting, including enhancing optical systems at UCL and developing non-invasive neuromonitoring devices at ICFO. Veronika's earlier roles involved building and testing spectroscopy devices and characterizing SPAD detectors at IFAE, as well as conducting fiber optics research during an undergraduate internship. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Health/Medical Physics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Physics from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
