Joshua Pearsen has a strong background in strategy and marketing. Joshua is currently working at CommCreative as the Senior Director of Strategy, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Strategy at the same company starting from March 2021. Before joining CommCreative, Joshua worked at IDG as a Senior Campaign Manager from June 2016 to May 2018. In this role, they were responsible for marketing and promotional awareness programs, managing top-tier corporate accounts, and facilitating internal and external communications. Prior to IDG, they gained experience as an MBA Marketing & Business Development Intern at Loci Controls, Inc. in 2015, where they created content marketing and performed pricing strategy analysis. Joshua has also worked as a Digital Marketing Manager at Bookspan, LLC from November 2013 to August 2014, where they planned and implemented marketing campaigns and managed multiple projects. Joshua started their career at Groupon as a Payments Sales Manager from December 2012 to November 2013, where they played a role in the marketing of mobile payment processing. Before that, they were a Senior Account Manager at Shoplet.com from July 2011 to December 2012, where they managed a sales team and exceeded budget goals. Joshua has also gained experience through internships at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Gorham & Partners, Ultralife Corporation, and Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation.
Joshua Pearsen earned their BA degree in Economics and Government from St. Lawrence University between 2007 and 2011. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing, Strategy & Innovation at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, which they completed between 2014 and 2016.
