Yaacov Tarko

Yaacov Tarko has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Yaacov is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Commenda, a position they have held since April 2022. Before joining Commenda, Yaacov was a Software Engineer at Google from February 2019 to November 2022. During their time at Google, they gained valuable experience in software development. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook in 2018, where they contributed to the Location-Aware Distribution team. Their responsibilities included optimizing memory usage and improving network systems. Additionally, Yaacov had an internship at Tyvak Nanosatellite Systems, Inc. in 2017, where they focused on implementing account-based authorization for a ground station. Yaacov also gained legal experience as an IP Law Intern at Dovel & Luner LLP in 2014.

Yaacov Tarko pursued their education between 2014 and 2018 at UCLA, where they focused on Computer Science and completed their studies.
