About Commerce Canal
Commerce Canal provides various brands, licensees and wholesalers with sales and marketing support with brick & mortar retailers, eCommerce etailers and online marketplaces. Our unique offering ranges from on-site support to assist with merchandising to general sales representative support by region or classification. Brands currently supported include Hanes, LEGO Wear, Disney, Timberland, Nautica, 3Doodler, and New Balance to name a few. Commerce Canal currently processes and represents approximately $300mm in annual GMV with the following retailers, etailers and marketplaces: Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central FBA, Costco, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Wayfair, Walmart, Zappos and several others.
Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for developing brand strategies, marketing plans, and product innovations to drive product growth. They should feel comfortable working cross-functionally to execute these strategies and ensure brand consistency. The Brand Manager will plays an ownership role in strategic planning and execution of the go-to market strategy for several of Commerce Canal’s owned, licensed or managed brands. Minimum Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a brand management role within retail; E-Commerce experience highly preferred; Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central Experience is ideal!
Proven skills developing brick and mortar selling strategies, online digital strategies, excellent understanding of web technologies, exposure and passion for social media, SEM/SEO, digital content and performance display.
Experience launching online products;
Business and technical expertise including experience-driving operations in a retail and eCommerce business with emphasis on metrics.
Based in New York, NY in Midtown Manhattan.
