Thien Nguyen

Thien Nguyen has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Nicholls State University. Thien has experience working as a Staff Accountant at Commerce Street Holdings, LLC, where responsibilities included fund accounting, corporate accounting, preparing financial statements, and analyzing areas of inefficiency. Thien also worked as a Financial Coordinator at the International Rescue Committee, an Airport Accountant at the New Orleans Aviation Board, an Accountant I at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and an Accountant at the City of New Orleans. Throughout these roles, Thien gained experience in financial analysis, journal entries, account reconciliations, and processing payments. Thien took an extended leave of absence from April 2019 to April 2020 to spend time with family.
