Nikhil Misra

Nikhil Misra is an experienced design professional with a strong background in product design and direction, currently serving as a freelance designer and director at Commercial Type since April 2021. Nikhil has been self-employed in independent design and direction since September 2014. Previous roles include Product Designer for Reader Experience at Hearst from February 2019 to April 2021, and a Product Design Intern at Oak Studios LLC from October 2018 to February 2019. Additional design experience includes positions at a verynice design studio, L+R, Frank151, and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Nikhil holds a Master of Professional Studies in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Purchase College, SUNY.
