Thomas Becker is an experienced equity research professional with over 25 years in the finance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Equity Research at Commerzbank AG since February 2008, Thomas has held multiple leadership roles, including Equity Research Coordinator, Head of Corporate Brokerage Services, and Head of Technology, Media and Telecom Equity Research. Notably, in 2014, Thomas was recognized as the No. 1 ranked Equity Analyst for German Small/Mid Caps in the Extel survey for the third consecutive year. Prior to Commerzbank, Thomas worked at HSBC as the Head of Technology & Telecom Research and at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA in a controlling and M&A capacity. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Cologne.
