Georgina O'Farrill

Georgina O'Farrill currently serves as the Head of Communications, Outreach, and Engagement at the Commission for Environmental Cooperation, with a focus on overseeing outreach and partnership opportunities. With extensive experience in project management, Georgina has coordinated trinational projects on green growth and ecosystems involving experts from Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Previous roles include Program Coordinator at McGill University for a training program in Biodiversity, Country Coordinator for the IUCN Tapir Specialist Group in Mexico, and Research Professional Fellow at the University of Toronto. Georgina holds a Ph.D. in Conservation of Endangered Species from McGill University and a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, alongside a Project Management certification from McGill.
