Fiona Beirne

Fiona Beirne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consumer policy and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as a Senior Learning and Development Executive at the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) since July 2015, Fiona has held various roles within the organization, including Senior Analyst and Consumer Policy Analyst. Prior to joining CRU, Fiona worked as a Personal Lines Executive at Murray#Spelman and as an Underwriter at RSA. Fiona began their career in customer account support and credit control at RSA Insurance Ireland. Educational qualifications include a Master of Economic Science in Economic Policy Evaluation and Planning from the University of Galway, along with advanced training in the regulation of energy utilities from the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. Fiona also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management from the University of Galway.
