Taylor Henley is a Trial Attorney in the Youth Advocacy Division at the Committee for Public Counsel Services, with a tenure beginning in August 2017. In this role, Taylor represents children charged with crimes who cannot afford counsel and focuses on undocumented children facing deportation due to juvenile delinquency charges. Taylor's background includes being a Yale Public Interest Fellow, where the fellowship project aims to enhance representation for noncitizen juvenile clients. Prior to this, Taylor earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School, where involvement included the Immigration Legal Services Clinic, Criminal Justice Clinic, and research supporting Professor Miriam Gohara on issues of childhood trauma and culpability. Additional experience includes internships with various organizations, such as the League of Conservation Voters and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Duke University.
