Cristina Leone, CPA, has extensive work experience in the accounting field. Cristina currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Edelstein & Company LLP, where they held the position of Senior Associate from July 2017 to April 2019. Before that, they worked as an Associate from September 2015 to July 2017, gaining experience in the Audit department. Cristina'sresponsibilities included performing audits, analyzing client transactions, and communicating findings.

Committee on Capital Markets Regulation
The Committee on Capital Markets Regulation is an independent and nonpartisan 501(c)(3) research organization dedicated to improving the regulation of U.S. capital markets. Thirty-three leaders from the investor community, business, finance, law, accounting and academia comprise the Committee’s membership. The Committee co-Chairs are Glenn Hubbard, Dean of Columbia Business School, and John L. Thornton, Chairman of the Brookings Institution. The Committee’s Director is Professor Hal S. Scott, Nomura Professor and Director of the Program on International Financial Systems at Harvard Law School. The Committee’s research regarding the regulation of U.S. capital markets provides policymakers with a nonpartisan, empirical foundation for public policy.
