Gypsy Guillén Kaiser

Gypsy Guillén Kaiser has extensive work experience in advocacy, communications, and strategic outreach. Gypsy most recently served as the Advocacy and Communications Director at the Committee to Protect Journalists, where they promoted press freedom worldwide. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Communications and Outreach Consultant at UN Women and as the Director of Communications at the International Women's Health Coalition. Gypsy has also held roles as the Director of Communications at Eisenhower Fellowships and as an Advocacy and Communications Strategist as an Independent Consultant. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Media and Public Relations Manager at Transparency International and as a News Reporter/Editor at Tribune Publishing Company, Hoy Newspaper. Gypsy has also worked as a Freelance Editor & Translator and as a Marketing Coordinator at RIA Envia Financial Services GmbH. Overall, they bring a diverse set of skills and experiences in the fields of advocacy, communications, and strategic outreach.

Gypsy Guillén Kaiser completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at New York University from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Relations at The Fletcher School at Tufts University until 2014. Additionally, in 2012, Gypsy Kaiser obtained a Certificate from The Fletcher School at Tufts University in the field of Fletcher Summer Institute for the Advanced Study of Nonviolent Conflict.
