Gianfranco Selvaggi

Gianfranco Selvaggi is an experienced professional with a comprehensive background in tourism management and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Commodore Industries in Malta since October 2023, Gianfranco has also been a Lecturer in Tourism Management at Global College Malta since October 2018. Previously, Gianfranco held the position of General Manager for Maineland Ltd - Costa Edutainment Spa and Marineland Ltd from December 2012 to December 2020, where responsibilities included restructuring following a change of ownership. Additional leadership roles include Group Chief Executive Officer at Malta University Holding Company Ltd and Chief Executive Officer at Malta Transport Authority, managing substantial budgets and a large workforce. Gianfranco's education includes multiple master's degrees in Tourism Management from Sheffield Hallam University, complemented by a background in primary and secondary education from De La Salle College, Malta.
