Johnny Rau

Johnny Rau is a highly experienced reservoir engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the oil and gas industry, specializing in increasing production rates, cash flow, and reserves across various fields in the Gulf of Mexico and Texas. Current involvement includes a position as a Reservoir Engineer at Commodore Offshore Operating, LLC. Previous roles encompass senior and advisory positions at notable companies such as QuarterNorth Energy, Hilcorp Energy, Cox Oil, and Apache Corporation, where Johnny performed extensive analyses, developed field depletion plans, and successfully executed numerous recompletion and drilling projects. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, both from Texas A&M University.
