Yordy Rosa

Yordy believes in the power of resiliency. Throughout his entire life he’s been able to enjoy the positive outcomes that come with having a positive mindset. Working in the nonprofit sector and serving our communities has taught him to stay true to who he is and provide the best service possible because everyone deserves a chance. Yordy believes in guiding our students through a path of success to unlock their greatest potential. He volunteers in several other nonprofit organizations that assist low-income families, LBGTQIA+, and at-risk youth. Yordy enjoys reading books that take him into a different dimension, hiking, and swimming. He is also a Level 3 Vegan. His favorite quote is "for last year's words belong to last year's language, and this year's words await another voice" by T.S Eliot.

Yordy holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, and is a current transfer student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, with a minor in Gender Studies.
