Doug Lapp

Doug Lapp serves as President & CEO of the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance since February 2017 and as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Common Ground Alliance since January 2021. Lapp holds board membership with the Common Ground Alliance since November 2019 and is President of Utility Infrastructure Group (UIG) Canada, overseeing various Alberta-based infrastructure businesses. Lapp is an Associate at Excel Projects Ltd, Proline Power Corp, and Precise Crossings Ltd, contributing to oilfield construction, power line maintenance, and directional drilling projects. Previous experience includes roles at Enbridge, where Lapp held various directorship positions, managing teams responsible for integrity programs and project integration. Lapp's education includes a Master of Engineering in Welding Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
