Rachel Hutchisson

Rachel Hutchisson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Common Impact since October 2024. Previously, Hutchisson held various leadership roles at Blackbaud from 2007 to 2023, including Vice President of Global Social Responsibility, where responsibilities included advancing corporate responsibility and engagement in significant initiatives like the UN Global Compact. Hutchisson was integral in establishing the company's first $1 million donation and played a foundational role in the inception of GivingTuesday. Earlier positions included Director of Marketing Programs & Events and Director of Corporate Communications, where Hutchisson developed Blackbaud’s public relations and marketing strategies. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a BA in English from Dickinson College. Additional studies in English literature, art history, architecture, and drama were completed at the University of London.
