Michelle Vigen Ralston is the Principal and Founder of Common Spark Consulting, which focuses on inclusive policymaking for a clean energy future. With extensive experience in energy policy, Ralston previously served as a Senior Policy Manager for the California Energy Efficiency Industry Council, where advocacy efforts supported energy efficiency and resource planning. Other notable roles include Senior Energy Planner for Montgomery County, Public Affairs Manager for Loudoun County, and Research Analyst at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy. Ralston’s educational background includes a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a B.A. in Political Science and English from St. Olaf College. Additionally, Ralston has also contributed as a Power Vinyasa Yoga Instructor and actively engages in community-based sustainability efforts.
