Iftach Shimon

Iftach Shimon has a diverse work experience spanning different fields. Iftach started their career in 2006 as an Analyst and Researcher at Israeli Military Intelligence. In 2009, they became the Research & Analysis Team Lead at the same organization, serving until 2012.

In 2016, they joined Elbit Systems Ltd as a Real Time Embedded Software Engineer. Iftach worked on developing system's core components using C/C++ and running Linux on SoC with ARM multi-processor environment. In 2018, they took on the role of Senior RT Embedded Software Engineer at Elbit Systems Ltd, where they were responsible for developing and implementing DL models on embedded systems. Iftach remained with the company until 2021.

Since 2021, Iftach Shimon has been working as a Real Time Software Engineer at CommonGround-AI.

Iftach Shimon attended Tel Aviv University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2018, they enrolled in Udacity and completed the AI Programming with Python Nanodegree.
