Alyssa Harsha

Alyssa Harsha, M.Ed., currently serves as a District Success Account Manager at CommonLit since June 2023. Previously, Alyssa worked as a 4th Grade Teacher at Berwyn South District 100, where rigorous, standards-based instruction was designed and delivered, alongside collaborative relationships built with specialists, administrators, and families to support student progress. Prior roles include 1st Grade Teacher at Cicero District 99, Early Childhood Learning Experiences Coordinator at The Field Museum, 2nd Grade Teacher at Burgundy Farm Country Day School, and 4th Grade Language Arts Teacher at Achievement Preparatory Academy. Alyssa began teaching as a 3rd-4th grade teacher with Teach for America. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction - Reading from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Hampshire College.
