Isabel Schneck

Isabel Schneck currently serves as a Program Manager for Preferred Communities at Commonpoint Queens, overseeing a team of case managers and facilitating collaborative problem-solving and referral pathways. Previously, Isabel worked as a Preferred Communities Case Manager at both Commonpoint Queens and HIAS, supporting vulnerable refugees. Isabel's experience also includes designing and facilitating workshops on global issues for Global Kids, serving as an Academic Intern in the Latin American & Latinx Studies Program at Vassar College, and coordinating Spanish Spelling Bee preparation workshops while tutoring English Language Learners. Isabel holds a Bachelor's degree in Latin American & Latinx Studies from Vassar College and is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work at Hunter College, focusing on clinical practice.
