David Dunston has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with a focus on home health services. David started their career as a Director of Rehabilitation at Professional Therapy Services from 2001 to 2004. David then worked as a Home Health Physical Therapist at Memorial and East TN from 2004 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Director of Rehab/Safe Strides Director at Gentiva Health Services. In 2011, they became the Executive Director at Life Care at Home, holding the position until 2014. David then worked as the Director of Operations at CHI Health at Home from 2014 to 2016, and briefly held the same position at Kindred at Home in 2016. Currently, they are the Director of Operations at CHI Health at Home since 2017.

David Dunston earned a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology from Andrews University in 1995. David then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Andrews University from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Music from Walla Walla University from 1991 to 1993. In March 1997, they obtained certification as a Physical Therapist from the institution of Tennessee.
