Bineet Singh Uppal

Bineet Singh Uppal is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as the Data Engineering Chapter Area Lead at Commonwealth Bank since September 2014. In this role, Bineet provides technical leadership within the Analytics and Information team, focusing on critical projects related to Data warehousing and Business Intelligence, particularly on the New Payments Platform. Prior to Commonwealth Bank, Bineet worked at Qantas from March 2011 to September 2014 as a Technical Lead, overseeing system integration and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver application architecture. Bineet's career began at Siemens IT Solutions and Services from January 2005 to February 2011, where Bineet managed various technology projects. Bineet holds a Masters of Computer Application from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and a B.Sc.(Hons.) in Electronics from Delhi University.
