Carlie Lau is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer strategy and insights. Currently serving as the General Manager at Commonwealth Bank since January 2020, Carlie has previously held various leadership positions at ING Australia, including Agile Tribe Lead for Customer Interactions and Head of Customer Intelligence and Marketing, from August 2011 to January 2020. At UBank, Carlie was the Head of Customer Management, Communications and Strategy, as well as Head of Customer Management and Analytics between 2007 and 2011. Carlie started the career at Virgin Money as Head of Marketing Services from 2004 to 2007. Carlie holds a degree in Economics with majors in Economics, Marketing, and Management from the University of Sydney and is currently pursuing further education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
