Cathy McBride

Cathy McBride is an accomplished professional in regulatory risk management and financial services, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Risk for Institutional Banking & Markets at Commonwealth Bank since January 2013. Cathy has effectively managed compliance obligations and regulatory engagements, previously held leadership positions including Head of Global Regulatory Change & Obligation Management, and Senior Manager Strategic Solutions for FATCA. Apart from extensive experience at Commonwealth Bank, Cathy has contributed to multiple organizations as a director, including Midnight Basketball Australia, the Women's Alcohol and Drug Advisory Centre, and Life Changing Experiences Foundation Ltd. Cathy's career also includes a decade of experience at KPMG in corporate taxation. Holding a BLLB / BComm degree in Accounting from UNSW, Cathy is dedicated to fostering mentorship and support initiatives for women through various philanthropic roles.
