William R. Mailer is the Chief Behavioural Scientist at Commonwealth Bank since February 2016 and co-founder of the Sydney Behavioural Economics and Behavioural Science Network, established in September 2014, which attracts a diverse audience of academics and practitioners. Previously, William served as the Head of Behavioural Economics at PwC from February 2012 to February 2016, where recognition included the PwC Global Innovation Award. William's extensive experience in behavioural economics also includes research at the Centre for Decision Research and Experimental Economics, management roles at Colliers International, as a consultant for AMP and PB Economics, and as a management accountant at Investec Bank Australia. William holds an MSc in Behavioural Economics from the University of Nottingham and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Macquarie University.
