Commonwealth Care of Roanoke
Cindy started her career in healthcare right out of high school as a ward secretary, where she found her passion for nursing. Immediately, she started nursing school and obtained her AD at Wytheville Community College, BSN at College of Health Sciences, and then graduated with an MBA at Averett University.
She started her nursing career at Radford Community Hospital, where she worked as an Emergency Room nurse, Clinical team leader, and later became Director of Emergency Services at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. While she was there, she discovered her love of caring for the elders and quickly transitioned to the post-acute/long-term and never looked back.

Commonwealth Care of Roanoke
Commonwealth Care of Roanoke exists to provide the most caring, compassionate and complete rehabilitation we can. We achieve this through people expertly responding to the needs of every patient we care for. We achieve this through our position as a leader in Virginia healthcare, with twelve modern facilities across the Commonwealth. And we achieve this by paying careful attention to results, helping us meet or exceed compliance in all areas and return our patients to the best health possible.
