Scott D. Harris, SCLA, currently serves as Chief Claims Officer and Senior Vice President of Claims at Commonwealth Casualty Company since October 2022. Previous roles include Vice President of Claims at Knight Insurance Group and Managing Director of Complex Claims at SeaHarbor Insurance Agency, LLC. Harris's extensive experience encompasses leadership positions focused on complex claims management, personal injury protection, and claims operations at several notable insurance companies, including Kemper, Merastar, Peninsula, and Firemans Fund. With a strong educational background featuring a B.A. and M.A. in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Harris also brings military leadership experience as a former 2nd Lieutenant in the Army National Guard.
