Md Nazmul Kabir Sikder is a highly skilled researcher and engineer with extensive experience in cyber-physical systems and building energy modeling. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative since January 2021, Md Nazmul leads the development of AI models for threat detection in water supply systems. Prior experience includes working at the Advanced Research Institute, where Md Nazmul developed building energy models and conducted demand response analyses, and a role at BEM Controls focused on IoT and smart grid software. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, alongside a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
