Mark Mondry

Mark Mondry is a seasoned leader in entrepreneurship and technology commercialization, serving as the inaugural Director of the LAUNCH Center for New Ventures at Virginia Tech since December 2019. Mondry also contributes to the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative's leadership team, focusing on advanced cyber security technologies. Previously, as a Full Professor of Practice in Entrepreneurship at Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, Mondry developed innovative programs emphasizing experiential learning. Experience includes directorial roles at the Colorado School of Mines, where Mondry enhanced engineering and technology management education, and as a partner at Phase M, LLP, specializing in intellectual property and business strategy. Educational credentials encompass a JD in Intellectual Property Law, an MAS in Business Administration, and ongoing PhD studies in Business, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at Virginia Tech.
