Ahmed Ayyad

Ahmed Ayyad, MS EE., PMP, serves as the Director of Project Management for Transmission and Substation at ComEd, where responsibilities include overseeing the execution of significant utility projects, particularly within the transmission and substation sectors. With a career at ComEd beginning in September 2008, Ahmed has held various leadership roles, including Senior Department Manager for Project Management, handling a portfolio exceeding $1 billion focused on data centers and manufacturing facilities. Expertise extends to managing complex programs, such as the Voltage Optimization Program and Distribution Grid Resiliency Project, ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and safety standards. Prior experience includes roles at Patrick Engineering and Maron Electric. Ahmed holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
