Amrit Kaur

Amrit Kaur began their work experience as a Customer Support Engineer (Internship) at Cisco Systems in 2013. Amrit then worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Elmwood Terrace Healthcare Center from 2009 to 2014. From 2014 onwards, they joined ComEd and held multiple roles including Regulatory Performance Engineer, Distribution Capacity Planning, Principal Business Program Manager - Operations Planning, and finally Principal Business Program Manager - Engineering Learning Transformation.

Amrit Kaur has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, obtained from 2011 to 2013. Amrit also holds an associate of science degree in Mathematics from Waubonsee Community College from 2009 to 2010. In 2008 to 2009, they received a diploma in Nursing from the Universal Training Institute (NJ). Amrit completed their master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Professional Engineer (PE) certification and Cisco certifications. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, anticipated to be completed between 2023 and 2026.
