Isabella Altenbach

Isabella Altenbach, E.I.T, is an experienced engineer currently serving as a DER Planning Engineer at ComEd since August 2025. Previously, Isabella worked at Amped I LLC from May 2023 to August 2025, progressing from Protection and Control Engineer 1 to Protection and Control Engineer 2. Prior to this, Isabella gained valuable experience as an Assistant Horseback Riding Instructor at Amy's Horseback Riding from 2016 to February 2023, focusing on student progression and safety protocols. Additionally, Isabella worked as a cashier, barista, and baker at Dunkin' Donuts during the summer of 2019, where responsibilities included store opening and customer service. Isabella holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned from 2018 to 2023.
