Saira Raja

Saira Raja has extensive work experience in various roles focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Saira is currently employed at ComEd as the Principal Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Programs Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Kirkland & Ellis as a Senior Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator and Firmwide Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator. Before that, they served as a Management Consultant and Associate Consultant at The Shelby Group. Saira also worked at Mercer as a Human Resources Benefits Analyst II, Racial and Ethnic Diversity Network - BRG Chair, Human Resources Benefits Analyst I, and Human Resources Benefits Counselor. Additionally, they have experience as an ACT/SAT Tutor at Academic Approach and as a Point of Sales Associate at Kohl's Department Stores. Saira started their career as a Tutor at America Reads and America Counts.

Saira Raja completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the years 2009-2013. In 2011-2012, they also attended Boğaziçi University. Saira obtained a Professional Certification in Diversity and Inclusion Management with a focus on unconscious bias from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies in 2016-2017. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications, including the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator and the Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management certification from Georgetown University. Saira also has certifications in Corporate Inclusion Institute, Inclusive Leadership Training, and Yellow Belt.
