Kimberly Somer has extensive work experience in the field of training and instructional design. Kimberly is currently working as a Corporate Trainer at Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest, where they develop and delivers training programs for employees. Prior to this, they worked at Albatross Training Solutions as an Instructional Designer, where they designed training materials.
Kimberly also has experience as a Project Contractor at eLearning Company, Inc., where they worked from July 2020 to February 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Contractor at SPi Global in June and July 2020.

Earlier in their career, Kimberly was a Training Manager at Coventry Health Care, an Aetna Company, from 2007 to 2009. In this role, they managed a team of trainers, scheduled and developed training programs, and implemented new hire curriculum.
Kimberly began their career in 1996 at Mutual of Omaha, initially as a Customer Service Representative and then transitioning into a Quality Assurance position. Later, they worked as a Business Analyst, traveling and training departments on a new claims processing system.
Kimberly Somer completed their education in a chronological order. Kimberly first attended Metropolitan Community College from 1987 to 1989, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. Kimberly'sfield of study during this time was Architecture. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Healthcare Management at Bellevue University, from 2004 to 2006.
