Jim Adelman

Jim Adelman serves as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Commonwealth Financial Network, the largest privately held independent broker/dealer in the United States, since 2004. With an extensive legal background, Jim previously held the position of Regulatory and Legal Counsel at Allmerica Financial from 2000 to 2004 and served as Associate District Administrator at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in various capacities from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, Jim was a partner at Choate Hall and Stewart from 1996 to 1998. Jim Adelman holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bucknell University.
