Deepthi Tammana

Deepthi Tammana currently serves as the Manager of the Materials Test Team at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, with prior experience as a Materials Engineer II and Materials Qualification Engineer within the same company since April 2020. Previously, Deepthi held the position of R&T Quality Engineer at DePuy Synthes Companies from January 2018 to April 2020 and worked as a Materials Engineer at Secat, Inc. from April 2014 to December 2016, focusing on product testing and R&D for manufacturing processes. Deepthi began a career in academia as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, conducting experiments for a Master's thesis in Materials Engineering, after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. Additional internships were completed at the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
