Jose Modol

Jose Modol is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since September 2022, Jose has previously held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Superpedestrian and a Heavy-duty Product Design Engineer - FEA Analyst at Federal-Mogul Powertrain. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Analysis Engineer at Power Solutions International and leadership as the Powertrain Team Leader at IIT SAE MOTORSPORTS, where Jose successfully trained and managed a team on design and analysis projects. Jose began professional training with a mechanical engineering internship at JCB North America. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a degree in Industrial & Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
