Sunaya Reddy

Sunaya Reddy is an Assembly Hardware Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead for Cornell Mars Rover, where Sunaya led a team of nearly 60 students, managed documentation, and facilitated skills training. As a Spacecraft Engineering Intern at Varda Space Industries, Sunaya designed and built a centrifuge and worked on automation for development hardware. Work in research at ASTRAlab involved characterizing electric propulsion technology. Earlier roles include Astrobiological Technology Subteam Lead and Science Task Lead at Cornell Mars Rover, and various instructional and supportive positions in educational and equestrian settings. Sunaya holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, earned in May 2023.
