Al Zelna, RT(R)(MR), CIIP, serves as the Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) Administrator at Commonwealth Health since January 2013, supporting an enterprise-wide PACS across four hospitals and managing upstream systems like Cerner Millenium and Medhost EHR. As Project Lead for an enterprise-level PACS project with Change Healthcare McKesson, and as Lead Analyst for the Emergency Department Information System rollout at the Regional Hospital of Scranton, significant contributions have been made to healthcare informatics. Prior experience includes over 25 years as PACS Administrator at NEPA Imaging Center, where expertise in DR Systems Unity PACS and SQL Database maintenance was developed, along with roles as one of the first credentialed MRI Technologists in the U.S. and General Diagnostic Radiographer at Community Medical Center. Educational qualifications include advanced certifications in Magnetic Resonance and Radiography from ARRT, along with a certificate in Radiography from CMC School of Radiologic Technology.
