Marcus Roland currently serves as the General Counsel for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, where responsibilities include directing legal operations for the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Funding Commission and representing the agency in litigation. Prior to this role, Marcus owned ROLAND LEGAL PLLC, specializing in workers' compensation and mediation, and was a partner at Ferreri & Fogle, focusing on workers' compensation insurance defense. Additional experience includes positions as an adjunct instructor at Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati, as well as serving as an associate attorney for Thomas R. Willenborg. Marcus holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and advanced degrees in Communication Arts and English Literature.
